Our Business Solutions and Digital Marketing Company is looking to hire for a Digital Marketing Sales & Business Development position. You will be a master relationships builder with existing and potential clients, and a classic closer. You know how to grind through; meetings, demos and closes. You’ll be the face of Microswift, building relationships and sales in each of these core channels.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Fill the funnel: You’ll be responsible for working with the Marketing department to drive inbound leads, and acquiring your own leads through meetings, cold calling, industry networking, and creative means as you see fit (if you don’t have a creative bone in your body, you can stop reading).
- Build the network: You’ll be responsible for representing Microswift at all industry related events (in due course). You’ll be expected to develop a name and (positive) reputation in each by being active in online communities and social networks and present in physical though leadership, and running educational seminars. As the company and role evolves, you may be responsible for hosting such events and organizing such online communities in collaboration with the Marketing Associate and the CEO.
- Propose and close: As you generate sales meetings, you’ll be responsible for seeing prospects through from lead generation through to close
- You’ll be expected to know the industry landscape within 15 days
- Present, promote and sell Microswift services and products using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers
- Reach out to customer leads through in person meetings, virtual meetings, cold calling and other means
- Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
- Coordinate sales efforts with team members and other departments to ensure delivery
- Reporting and analysis: At Microswift, we work hard, communicate openly, make decisions with facts AND feelings, and collaborate extensively. That means you need to track what you’re doing, share it with the team, ask for help when needed, and accept constructive analysis, feedback and criticism. And yes. This does mean a CRM.
Qualifications
- Experience in negotiations, advertising, digital media & sales (is a must)
- Excellent communication and negotiation and presentation skills
- Highly motivated and persistent
- Presentation, client building and closing skills
